Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Signs & Graphics Installer to join our small. expanding business Based at our own workshop premises in Aldridge, West Midland. The ideal candidate will be working directly with the hands-on owner and sub-contractors, the role involves the installation of all types of signage and vinyl graphics, ensuring high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years installation experience, a keen eye for detail, excellent manual dexterity, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Wage dependent upon experience.
We would also consider a conversation with an individual currently running their own small sign company who is potentially looking to collaborate or join forces.
Duties
- Install signs, banners, decals, and graphics on diverse surfaces including walls, windows, vehicles, and outdoor structures.
- Measure and mark installation sites accurately to ensure proper alignment and positioning.
- Use hand tools and power equipment safely to secure signage in place.
- Prepare surfaces prior to installation, including cleaning and surface preparation.
- Read and interpret technical drawings, installation instructions, and specifications.
- Maintain equipment in good working order through regular inspections and cleaning.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations during all phases of installation work.
Requirements
- Proven experience in installing signs or graphics is essential.
- Strong manual dexterity with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work at heights using ladders or scaffolding safely.
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy items (up to 20kg) regularly throughout the day.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication skills for liaising with team members and clients.
- Valid driving licence is mandatory; willingness to travel between sites is essential.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
