Duties
- Carefully pick food items from storage based on order sheets.
- Conduct quality control checks to verify product freshness, accuracy, and condition before packing.
- Pack orders efficiently with appropriate materials handling techniques to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to promote a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Prior experience in warehouse management systems, materials handling, or foodservice distribution is preferred.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment and tools.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and load/unload products repeatedly throughout shifts.
- Familiarity with picking & packing processes, stocking procedures, and quality control standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to safety protocols.
