Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Bendi driver to join our dynamic team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods, materials, and equipment to various destinations while ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining excellent customer service. Your expertise in vehicle operation, materials handling, and warehouse procedures will contribute significantly to our operational success. Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods between warehouses, distribution centers, and customer locations.
- Load and unload materials efficiently using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or hand trucks.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure mechanical safety and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Manage shipping and receiving documentation accurately within the warehouse management system.
- Assist with materials handling tasks, including stacking, organizing, and securing loads for safe transit.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and loading areas to promote safety standards.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to coordinate delivery schedules and ensure timely arrivals.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).
- Strong mechanical knowledge for basic vehicle repairs and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for tracking shipments and inventory.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks regularly.
- Basic math skills for measuring, counting, and verifying shipments.
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
