We're looking for a confident, professional and guest-focused Bar Security Officer to join our team at one of our two distinctive bars: 12th Knot or Lyaness.
Working across our vibrant bar operations, you’ll play an important role in maintaining a welcoming atmosphere while ensuring the highest standards of safety and security are upheld.
What you’ll be doing
Providing a visible and professional security presence within our bars and guest areas
Welcoming guests and maintaining a friendly, approachable manner
Monitoring guest behaviour and identifying potential issues before they escalate
Managing entry and ensuring our admission policies are consistently followed
Supporting the team with crowd management during busy periods and events
Responding calmly and professionally to incidents, disputes or challenging situations
Working closely with the Bar, Front Office and wider hotel teams
Carrying out regular checks of designated areas
Following hotel security procedures and accurately reporting incidents
Supporting the safety and wellbeing of guests and colleagues at all times
What we’re looking for someone who is:
SIA Door Supervisor licensed
Confident, professional and approachable
Calm under pressure with excellent situational awareness
Comfortable dealing with challenging situations diplomatically
A strong communicator and team player
Reliable, punctual and able to work late-night and weekend shifts
Guest-focused, with a genuine understanding of hospitality
Previous experience in hotel, bar or nightlife security is desirable
Salary: £36,305 p/a + service charge + benefits
