Hatherley Manor Hotel is a luxurious manor house hotel and Spa set amidst 37 acres of beautiful grounds, including a unique Walled Garden, in the heart of the Gloucestershire countryside.
Who Are We Looking For
We are looking for enthusiastic and energetic individuals with a passion for the hotel industry, who will be at the forefront of the hotel representing the team and helping to deliver an unforgettable experience for our guests.
As a member of our Guest Host Team you will be that all important first and last point of contact for guests during their stay, effortlessly reflecting our hotel vision and values.
The Role You Will be Playing
You will meet and greet guests on arrival and provide them with a unique service that is tailored to their individual requirements, guaranteeing that they are provided with all of the relevant information they need to get the best out of their stay.
You will assist guests with any enquiries that they may have to ensure high levels of satisfaction are delivered and guide them to their bedrooms giving them all the relevant information they require for their stay.
You will be able to provide guests with knowledge of bedroom types, hotel and Spa facilities and locations and as you grow into the role you will become a fount of all knowledge of the hotel, Spa and food and beverage, which you’ll use to keep customers informed and enlightened during their stay.
Shifts times
Early shift 7am - 3pm, Late shift 2pm - 10pm

· Be the perfect hotel ambassador at all times bringing our brand and company values to life whilst always maintaining the highest standards
· Work well independently as well as under supervision, whilst being motivated, polite and helpful to colleagues and guests alike at all times
· Apply great communication skills, including a good level of spoken and written English with an outstanding telephone manner and interpersonal skills
· Have a genuine passion for the hotel industry with a willingness to learn and embrace training opportunities when they arise

Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel or restaurant
- Escort guests to their assigned tables or rooms
- Provide information about the establishment's services, amenities, and promotions
- Assist guests with seating arrangements and special requests
- Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating/waiting list
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and friendly manner
- Coordinate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and resolve them promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Professional phone etiquette
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of hotel or restaurant operations is a plus
