Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Dental Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dental clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional patient care, and maintaining the overall efficiency of the practice. Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the dental practice team, including receptionists, dental assistants, and hygienists
- Oversee daily operations to ensure smooth workflow and high standards of patient care
- Manage financial aspects of the practice, including budgeting, billing, and financial reporting
- Handle human resources functions such as recruitment, staff training, performance appraisals, and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and industry standards
- Maintain effective communication between staff members and patients to foster a welcoming environment
- Implement administrative procedures to optimise efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Coordinate with dental practitioners regarding scheduling, equipment maintenance, and inventory control
Skills
- Proven supervising experience within a healthcare or dental setting
- Strong management capabilities with excellent organisational skills
- Sound financial management skills, including budgeting and financial reporting
- Knowledge of human resources practices relevant to healthcare environments
- Experience in veterinary or dental practice management is advantageous but not essential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with staff and patients
- Ability to lead a team, motivate staff, and resolve conflicts efficiently
- Proficiency in practice management software and administrative tools
