Responsibilities
- Provide a range of barbering services, including haircuts, beard trims, and shaves, tailored to meet individual client needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and hygienic environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide professional advice on styles and grooming.
- Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and by creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques to offer clients contemporary options.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the salon environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience in barbering or hair styling is essential.
- Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with clients.
- A valid barbering qualification or certification is preferred.
- A passion for the beauty industry and a desire to enhance skills through ongoing training and development.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
