The Role
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and reliable Sales Assistant to join our team. You’ll be working front of house and greeting customers visiting our store, providing advice, processing orders, and ensuring they receive the best possible service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving customers at the till with professionalism and efficiency
- Offering advice and product knowledge to help customers find the right solutions
- Processing sales transactions and handling cash/card payments
- Managing stock levels, including restocking shelves and checking deliveries
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming shop
- Supporting the wider sales team with general duties as required
- Customer deliveries in our van
- Assisting customers with loading heavy items to their vehicles
About You:
- Previous experience in sales, counter work, or customer service preferred (but not essential – training will be given)
- A positive, approachable attitude with good communication skills
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Basic IT and numeracy skills
- driving licence is essential
- Fork lift licence is helpful
