Jennor Timber is a busy, independent, family run timber merchant based in Enfield, North London.
We are seeking a dynamic, talented and enthusiastic Warehouse Manager to further enhance our dedicated team. The Timber Warehouse manager role will play a pivotal role in streamlining productivity to meet customer demands.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Manage all Warehouse Activities, including receiving, storing and dispatching of timber products.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to comply with health & safety regulations.
- Ensure the proper handling and storage of materials to prevent damage and maintain quality.
- Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Organise loading and unloading of our fleet of vehicles ensuring best practise at all times.
- Serve our customers on the Trade counter offering the best service possible at all times.
- Health and safety management including regular checks as required.
- Show strong leadership and management skills
Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 3 years experience in Warehouse management in the timber or building merchant industry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good working attitude.
- Familiarity with Health & Safety regulations.
- Good understanding of measurements and numeracy
- Timber merchant experience
- Forklift license
- Experience with logistics and supply chain management.
