We are seeking a part time Golf Shop Assistant to support our team in delivering exceptional service and efficient operations.
This role involves assisting with the smooth day to day running of a 27 hole golf club in the village of Stockton on Forest near York.
The ideal candidate will possess good communication skills, with some knowledge of golf, retail and administration
Responsibilities
- Support the club by addressing enquiries and enhancing overall members and guests satisfaction
- Assist in coordinating daily operational activities within the Golf Pro shop
- Contribute to organising events, meetings, or functions as required
- Maintain accurate records of bookings, reservations, and other events
- Assist team members to ensure a high quality member and guest experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail is desirable but not essential; a knowledge of golf and willingness to learn is important
- The ability to prioritise tasks with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well within a team and independently when required
- Proficiency in basic computer applications such as MS Office or similar software
