We are looking for experienced local sole traders, independent handymen, or small trade teams for ongoing, ad-hoc property maintenance and void property prep.
You’ll be responsible for bringing vacant rental properties up to standard quickly and efficiently. If you take pride in tidy, dependable work and want steady local sub-contract work on flexible terms, we’d love to hear from you.
What the work looks like:
- Void Preps: End-of-tenancy cleanouts, basic refresh work, and making properties lettable.
- Decorating & Touch-Ups: Refreshing paintwork, filling, and general cosmetic updates.
- Minor Plumbing: Swapping taps, fixing leaks/seals, replacing basic fixtures.
- General Carpentry & Maintenance: Easing stuck doors, replacing locks, hardware repairs.
- Bathroom and Kitchens: Removing and fitting basic bathrooms and kitchens
- Clearances: Removing leftover items or minor debris from vacant units.
What you’ll need:
- Registered as a self-employed sole trader / business
- Your own reliable transport (van), hand/power tools, and valid UK driving licence.
- Valid Public Liability Insurance.
- A reliable, practical approach with strong attention to detail.
Pay & Contract Terms:
- Sub-Contract / CIS Basis (Not PAYE).
- Flexible pricing structure: Choice of agreed daily rate or fixed price per project.
- Prompt, hassle-free payment upon completion and sign-off.
