Clean Slate Newcastle is a family-run cleaning and decluttering business based in Newcastle upon Tyne. We provide high-quality domestic cleaning, deep cleans, decluttering and organising services with kindness, professionalism and attention to detail.
We’re looking for a reliable, trustworthy and compassionate person to join our bank team, providing cover for holidays, sickness, busy periods and decluttering projects across Newcastle and the surrounding areas.
This is a flexible zero-hours position with no guaranteed hours, making it ideal for someone looking to fit work around other commitments. As the business continues to grow, there will be opportunities for more regular hours.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your work may include:
- General domestic cleaning in clients’ homes.
- Cleaning kitchens and bathrooms to a high standard.
- Vacuuming, mopping, dusting and tidying.
- Completing occasional deep cleaning tasks.
- Assisting with decluttering and organising projects.
- Helping clients create practical, organised spaces.
- Working alongside clients in a patient, respectful and non-judgemental way.
- Providing a friendly, reliable and professional service at every visit.
What We’re Looking For
You’ll need:
- A full UK driving licence.
- Your own reliable vehicle.
- To be dependable, trustworthy and punctual.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Confidence working independently in clients’ homes.
- A caring, patient and non-judgemental attitude.
- Good communication skills.
- A willingness to learn and take pride in your work.
Previous cleaning, organising or care experience would be an advantage but isn’t essential. Full paid training will be provided.
