Part-time (22.5 hours per week): 3 days preferrable
Salary: £12.80 per hour
We have an exciting new opportunity for someone to join us as a Patient Administrator. Working under the Governance Manager, you will support our Patient Services, Secretarial and Clinical Administration teams with a range of administrative duties related to patient care. You will play a vital role in helping our administrative teams manage their workflow by asssiting with appointments, referrals, and processing tasks and correspondence.
In order to be suitable for this role, you must be able to demonstrate skills/experience in the following:
- Excellent administrative and organisational skills
- Good IT skills including the Microsoft Office suite
- Understanding of confidentiality
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to follow procedures
- Speaking with customers or patients over the telephone
- Working in an office environment
- Accurate data entry and record keeping
- Working in an administrative role that includes computerised records and/or document handling
- Working in a pressurised environment with differing or conflicting priorities
