About the role
Professional Care Recruitment Ltd is looking for experienced and compassionate Support Workers to join our Supported Living team. You will support adults with varying needs to live independently in their own homes, promoting dignity, choice, and independence.
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred support in line with individual care plans.
- Assist with personal care where required.
- Support individuals with daily living tasks, including meal preparation, medication, shopping, appointments, and household duties.
- Encourage independence and community involvement.
- Maintain accurate care records and report any concerns.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 1 year's experience working in a UK health and social care setting (essential).
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle (essential).
- Right to work in the UK (essential).
- Good written and spoken English.
- Caring, reliable, and professional with excellent communication skills.
Mandatory Training
Applicants should ideally have up-to-date training in:
- Safeguarding Adults
- Moving & Handling
- Medication Administration
- Infection Prevention & Control
- Health & Safety
- Mental Capacity Act (MCA) & DoLS
- Basic Life Support / First Aid (desirable)
