Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior <PERSON> to oversee and manage culinary operations within our organisation. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, chefs, and service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality output
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to meet organisational standards and customer expectations
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including scheduling, resource allocation, and inventory control
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times
- Develop and implement innovative menu ideas in collaboration with the culinary team
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff to promote professional development
- Maintain a positive team environment through effective leadership and communication
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Monitor quality control throughout all stages of food production and presentation
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a food production or hospitality environment
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage diverse teams effectively
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
- Experience working in restaurants or similar hospitality settings is highly desirable
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask under pressure
- Good understanding of culinary techniques and current industry trends
- Previous experience in restaurant service or hospitality roles is advantageous
