Job description
This is an opportunity to use your skills or train within a leading electrical switchgear company. The ideal candidate will have transferrable skills and experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Wiring and fitting of Switchgear, switchboards and distribution boards
- Wiring and fitting of electrical components
- Panel wiring
- PLC wiring
- Copper busbar fitting
- Keeping the workshop in a tidy and organised manner
- Offloading and moving panels into position within the workshop
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Beneficial skills are as follows however all relevant training can be given:
- Experience in panel wiring (preferred)
- Proven experience in a similar role (preferred)
- Ability to read manufacturing drawings
- Good attention to detail and pride in your workmanship (essential)
- Can measure and mark out accurately to manufacturing drawings (preferred)
- Ability to work on your own or as part of a team (essential)
- Good experience in using a range of hand and power tools (preferred)
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)

- Salary £28k – 35k, dependant on experience
- Overtime payable for any additional hours worked - may be required from time to time

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
