Our client, a well-established automotive service centre in Harlow, Essex, is seeking a highly skilled Vehicle Technician to join their reputable team. This is an exceptional opportunity for experienced vehicle technicians looking to advance their careers within a professional and supportive environment. The Vehicle Technician role offers a chance to work on a diverse range of vehicles, including electric models, with a focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Key benefits:
- Competitive basic salary of £35,000 to £50,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday working hours, 8am to 6pm
- Optional overtime on Saturdays, 9am to 3pm

Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a wide range of vehicles to meet safety and performance standards
- Assemble and disassemble vehicle components for repairs, diagnostics, or upgrades
- Rebuild engines and undertake electrical system repairs, including electric and hybrid vehicles
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate documentation of all work carried out
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate findings effectively
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician with a strong technical background
- Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
- Knowledge of electric and hybrid vehicle systems is desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a methodical approach
- Commitment to delivering high standards of work and customer satisfaction
