Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver excellent customer service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. This role involves preparing and serving drinks, maintaining cleanliness, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for patrons. Previous experience in hospitality or food service is essential, full training will be provided. The position offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities
- Serve a variety of beverages accurately and efficiently to customers
- Take orders and handle cash transactions with basic maths skills
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area in accordance with food safety standards
- Ensure responsible alcohol service by checking IDs and adhering to licensing laws
- Assist in restocking supplies and managing stock levels
- Provide friendly and professional service to all guests, creating a welcoming environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold high standards of hygiene and safety
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality, food safety, or serving roles is preferred but not mandatory
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Basic maths proficiency for handling transactions accurately
- Knowledge of restaurant or bar operations is required, training will be provided for those returning to the industry
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining excellent customer service standards
Pay: £13.00 per hour
