Overview
We are seeking a skilled Labourer to join our team, contributing to a variety of outdoor and construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, practical experience in landscape maintenance and construction, and the ability to operate a range of tools and machinery. Duties
- Assist with landscape maintenance tasks including planting, pruningy, mowing, and general garden care
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment such as excavators and irrigation systems
- Support construction activities, including site preparation, material handling, and basic structural work
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and tools to ensure safety and efficiency
- Assist with the installation and repair of irrigation systems and other outdoor infrastructure
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely
Skills
- Practical experience in landscape maintenance, gardening or horticulture is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of machinery such as excavators and power tools
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools for various construction tasks
- Knowledge of irrigation systems installation and repair processes
- Strong understanding of general maintenance procedures in outdoor environments
- Ability to follow instructions carefully while working independently or as part of a team
- Good physical fitness with the capacity to perform manual labour in various weather conditions
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to safety standards and detail
