Building trust with customers and suppliers is central to everything we do.
Duties
Sales & customer service
Deliver customer service to a consistently high standard across all interactions, both in person and by phone.
Seek new opportunities to develop and expand sales through upselling and cross-selling products.
Carry out cash transactions and till processes accurately and in accordance with branch procedures.
Communicate professionally and effectively to build lasting trust with customers and suppliers.
Support colleagues across the branch to deliver a seamless customer experience.
Yard Duties
Ensure accurate and efficient loading and unloading of all vehicles.Ensure safe storage of all goods handled on site.
Complete all paperwork correctly for incoming goods and inspect items unloaded on site.
Ensure safe strapping and containment of split or mixed sheet materials and timber for secure delivery.
Assist the Branch Manager in maintaining site presentation standards to a consistently high level.
