Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Podiatrist/Chiropodist to join on a part-time basis at either or both of our private clinics in dollingstown and lisburn. The successful candidate will provide expert foot and lower limb care, specialising in diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of foot-related conditions. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting with foot and lower limb complaints
- Develop personalised treatment plans, including manual therapy, footwear advice, and orthotic prescriptions
- Perform minor surgical procedures and wound care as required
- Educate patients on foot health, injury prevention, and management strategies
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with clinic policies and data protection regulations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Stay updated with current clinical practices and attend ongoing professional development sessions
Requirements
- Fully qualified Podiatrist or Chiropodist registered with the appropriate professional body
- Proven experience in a clinical setting, preferably within private practice
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly in English
- Strong IT skills for managing electronic health records and clinic software programmes
- Ability to teach patients about foot health and self-care techniques effectively
- Professional attitude with a commitment to delivering high standards of patient care
- Flexibility to work part-time hours that suit both the clinic’s needs and personal schedule
