Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented 3D Modeller to join our team on a project basis.
The role involves taking 2D architectural plans provided by architects and converting them into basic but accurate 3D models.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret 2D architectural plans and drawings.
- Construct accurate 3D models based on the plans provided.
- Ensure dimensions, layouts, walls, openings and other key elements are correctly represented.
- Make adjustments to models based on feedback or updated drawings.
- Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
- Organise and manage model files clearly.
Requirements
- Experience creating 3D models from architectural drawings.
- Good ability to read and understand 2D plans.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet agreed deadlines.
- Basic-to-intermediate 3D modelling skills are sufficient — high-end rendering or advanced visualisation is not required.
- Experience with architectural modelling software such as SketchUp, Revit, AutoCAD.
Ideal Candidate
You don't need to be an advanced 3D artist. We are primarily looking for someone who can take a 2D architectural plan and accurately turn it into a clean, straightforward 3D model.
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
