As a Senior Project Manager at Hitachi Energy, You will lead projects that support the delivery of innovative energy solutions, helping customers and communities accelerate the transition to a more sustainable energy future
How you'll make an impact:
Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of cross-functional projects from initiation to completion.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource requirements, and budget.
Work with project teams to ensure high performance and adherence to project goals.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans and escalating critical concerns to relevant stakeholders.
Establish and maintain strong communication channels with all project stakeholders, including internal teams, clients, and vendors.
Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and prepare regular status reports for management and stakeholders.
Ensure projects are delivered within scope, on time, and within budget, meeting quality standards and client expectations.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and tools within the organization.
Manage vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring deliverables meet specifications and performance expectations.
Your Background:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera 6) and collaboration tools.
Experience in a global or multinational corporate environment is a plus.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and adapt to changing priorities.
Strong financial acumen and experience in budget management and cost control.
