Responsibilities and Duties
Fabrication and welding of mild steel crane beams, structural steel components, lifting beams, gantry steelwork as well as repairs, refurbishment and modification of existing components. Duties are often performed with minimal supervision so must be comfortable working independently in a factory setting, able to read and interpret fabrication drawings, work to deadlines and to the expected standard.
Experience
· 3 years + Fabrication
· 3 years + Welding
· Fully conversant with the MIG welding process
· Experience working with cranes or lifting equipment preferred but not required
