Part-Time Self-Employed Team Member – Administration & Finance
About Animals in Reach
Vision: Growing through connection
Mission: We improve mental health and wellbeing by encouraging connection with others through activities with animals, horticulture and crafts.
Animals in Reach is a values-led organisation focused on improving mental health and wellbeing through meaningful connection.
We work with disabled children and young people and their families, creating opportunities for connection, confidence, learning, enjoyment and wellbeing. We also work with children and young people within our local rural community, providing opportunities to connect with others, develop skills and experience the benefits of spending time with animals, horticulture and crafts.
Our work is rooted in the belief that connection matters — connection with other people, with animals, with nature and with our local community. Through this, we aim to create welcoming and inclusive opportunities where children, young people and families can grow, develop and improve their wellbeing.
We are looking for a reliable, organised and proactive self-employed team member to provide essential administrative and financial support to our growing organisation.
This is an important role within Animals in Reach. You will help keep the organisation running smoothly behind the scenes, ensuring that administration, communication, finance, staff records and training are well organised and up to date.
We are looking for someone who genuinely understands and believes in our vision of Growing through connection and our mission to improve mental health and wellbeing through connection with others. You will be someone who enjoys being part of a team, contributes positively to the organisation and is also confident working independently and taking responsibility for getting things done.

- Comfortable working with figures, staff hours and payroll information.
- Able to manage confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
- Confident using email, spreadsheets and online systems.
- Flexible and willing to support different areas of the organisation when needed.
- A genuine team player who enjoys supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive working environment.
