Assistant Manager; The successful candidate must have a minimum of two years experience in fashion retail. Ideally this would be at a level of supervisor and above. We are looking for an energetic person, with great people skills, who has the ability to engage both customers and colleagues. Someone who can help the management team instil the Porters core values and be able to sell to a cross section of customers, ensuring that they leave feeling they have been given helpful and premium service that they will tell their friends about! The successful candidate must be able to work 5 over 7 days a week and in key retail periods.
This role will require a wide range of skills. Customer service, target driven sales, visual merchandising, stock control, store standards, opening and closing the store, cashing up, stocktaking, staff training, rota planning and working with Excel spreadsheets are all part of the daily routines.
Porters represents brands, for both men and women, such as Belstaff, Barbour, Paul Smith, Universal Works, Carhartt, Nudie Jeans and many more.
