Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Registered Manager to lead and oversee the operation of a care home specializing in assisted living and senior care services. As the Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered in compliance with CQC (Care Quality Commission) regulations. Your leadership will foster a positive environment for residents and staff alike, promoting quality, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring compliance with all CQC standards and regulations.
- Develop, implement, and regularly review personalized care plans tailored to each resident’s needs, including dementia and Alzheimer’s care.
- Supervise and support a team of care staff, including recruiting, training, mentoring, and conducting performance reviews to maintain high-quality service delivery.
- Oversee medication administration processes to ensure safety and accuracy in line with regulatory requirements.
- Foster a warm, welcoming environment that promotes dignity, independence, and respect for residents.
- Monitor operational procedures related to health and safety, infection control, and risk management to uphold a safe living environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff records, incident reports, and regulatory compliance audits.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and families to coordinate comprehensive care solutions for residents with complex needs such as dementia or other cognitive impairments.
Experience
- Proven experience managing or supervising within assisted living facilities or nursing homes.
- Strong background in nursing or senior care with a focus on dementia or Alzheimer’s care preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising multidisciplinary teams in a care home setting.
- Knowledge of CQC regulations and experience successfully managing compliance audits.
- Hands-on experience with developing and implementing care plans that address individual resident needs.
- Familiarity with medication administration protocols within regulated environments.
- Prior experience working in home care or community-based senior services is advantageous but not essential.

Pay: £40,811.81-£67,638.39 per year
