We are a leading provider of passive fire protection services, specialising in fire door inspections, compartmentation surveys, and remedial works across commercial, residential, and educational sectors. Our team is expanding, and we’re seeking an experienced and qualified Fire Door Surveyor to join our growing operation.
The Role
As a Fire Door Surveyor, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting comprehensive Fire door Surveys in accordance with BS 8214 and Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS) standards.
- Producing accurate, detailed reports using digital software and photographic evidence.
- Working collaboratively with clients to ensure effective fire safety management.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Recognised qualifications such as FDIS (Fire Door Inspection Scheme) or NAFDI (National Association of Fire Door Inspectors).
- Proven experience conducting fire door surveys in various building types.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, British Standards, and Approved Documents.
- Excellent attention to detail and report-writing skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
- Experience using digital reporting tools (e.g.,Onetrace)
- Membership of professional fire safety bodies (IFE, IFSM, or similar).
