Duties
- Handle materials efficiently, including loading, unloading, and moving stock within the warehouse using manual handling techniques.
- Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and process shipments accurately.
- Pick and pack orders with precision to meet customer specifications and delivery deadlines.
- Stock shelves and storage areas systematically to optimise space utilisation and facilitate easy access.
- Assist with shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before dispatch.
- Perform heavy lifting safely during daily tasks, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics environments is highly desirable.
- Strong materials handling skills with the ability to operate forklifts safely (certification preferred)
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures to ensure accurate documentation and timely dispatch.
- Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail in picking, packing, and stocking activities.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining a focus on safety protocols.
