Job Summary
We are seeking a Fully Qualified Mechanic to join our team, responsible for maintaining, repairing, and servicing a variety of equipment and vehicles. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issues across a range of equipment and vehicles using schematics and technical manuals
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functioning of machinery
- Utilise hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to carry out repairs and assembly work
- Conduct equipment repairs, including welding and heavy lifting as required
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate accurate repairs and assembly processes
- Assist in the installation, assembly, and disassembly of machinery or components
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and ensuring client satisfaction
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace adhering to health and safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a qualified mechanic with comprehensive mechanical knowledge
- Proficiency in reading schematics, technical drawings, and manuals
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques
- Strong understanding of maintenance procedures and equipment repair methods
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Good communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in mechanical engineering or related fields are preferred
