- Minimum 12 months’ lorry loader / HIAB experience preferred

- Willingness to work away overnight Monday to Friday
- Positive, reliable and can-do approach
Desirable: ADR qualification (training can be provided for the right candidate)

We take great pride in our modern, well-maintained fleet and the high standards we uphold across our operation. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Class 1 Wagon & Drag HIAB Driver to join our team based at our Staveley depot.
The Role
This role involves operating a modern lorry loader vehicle across various locations throughout the UK, with regular overnight stays during the working week.
As a key representative of the business, you will play an important customer-facing role and will be expected to maintain a professional appearance and courteous manner at all times.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated, dependable and capable of working independently while consistently maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism and vehicle care.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate Class 1 Wagon & Drag HIAB vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carry out deliveries and collections across the UK
- Ensure all loads are secured and transported in line with regulations
- Maintain high standards of vehicle cleanliness and care
- Complete relevant paperwork and compliance documentation accurately
- Represent the company professionally when dealing with customers and sites
- Work independently while managing schedules and overnight stays effectively
What We’re Looking For
- Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
- HIAB / lorry loader experience preferred
- ADR qualification desirable but not essential
- Strong understanding of driver compliance and road safety
- Professional, polite and customer-focused manner
- Reliable, self-motivated and organised approach
- Pride in maintaining vehicles and equipment to a high standard
- Flexible attitude and willingness to stay away overnight regularly
