Safe and Secure Training stands as a leader in training services, fostering growth and innovation in partnership with the esteemed Cardiff and Vale Network. Our collaboration with over 20 training providers within the Cardiff and Vale Network empowers us to offer Sustainable Resource Management Apprenticeships spanning levels 2 to 4. Some of these opportunities are even fully funded by the Welsh Assembly Government, further showcasing our commitment to excellence.
About the Role
As an Administrator, you will be a pivotal figure in our company, reporting directly to the Director. Your main responsibility will encompass ensuring the smooth execution of signing up potential candidates for an apprenticeship, general administration duties, and maintaining an impeccable standard that reflects our dedication to excellence. In line with our strategic expansion into the security sector, this role will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless functioning of related courses. Part of the role will be to sign up new learners onto the apprenticeship scheme, this involves visiting several of our sites across South Wales and completing the sign up process with all new learners. All relevant training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Manage sign up process for our apprentices. May require visits to our sites across South Wales.
- Recording data gathered from the sign up process
- Contacting supervisors/management of our sites for potential sign ups onto the qualification
- Registrations and claims for the apprentices
- Demonstrate adherence to the Data Protection Act to maintain privacy and confidentiality
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure smooth operations
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling meetings, organising paperwork and providing support to the team
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent time management and organisation abilities
- Proven experience in administration (Sales experience preferred but not essential)
- Ability to organise paperwork and record data
- Must hold a valid driver's licence and own a vehicle as you may require site visits
- Exhibit self-motivation, thriving both independently and as a collaborative as a team
Additional Information:
This role may encompass any other reasonable duties as specified by the Director, reflecting our dedication to adaptability and growth. All business travel is compensated. IT equipment is provided if required. Opportunities to progress within the company are available after a 3-month probation is passed.
