Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Wall and Floor Tiler to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality wall and floor tiling in a variety of residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help transform spaces, ensuring durability, aesthetic appeal, and precision in every job. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying necessary adhesives or primers to ensure optimal tiling results
- Measure and mark layouts accurately using schematics, ensuring precise placement of tiles according to project specifications
- Cut tiles with hand tools or power tools to fit around obstacles, edges, or irregular spaces with accuracy
- Install wall and floor tiles securely using appropriate adhesives, grout, and sealants for long-lasting finishes
- Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to follow design plans meticulously
- Perform construction painting tasks as needed to prepare surfaces before tiling begins
- Maintain a clean work area by removing debris, excess materials, and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Requirements
- Proven construction experience with a focus on tiling or related trades such as carpentry or flooring installation
- Proficiency with hand tools (e.g., trowels, chisels) and power tools used in tiling and construction work
- Ability to read schematics, technical drawings, and project plans accurately
- Knowledge of construction painting techniques is a plus for surface preparation tasks
- Strong understanding of safety procedures related to the use of power tools and construction sites
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on precision and quality workmanship
- Physical stamina to stand, kneel, lift heavy materials, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday

Pay: £110.00-£278.76 per day
