HGV RORO Driver – Bedfordshire Area
GBRS are looking for a reliable and motivated Class 2 RORO Driver to join our team, covering the Bedfordshire area.
This is a great opportunity for the right applicant, with the potential to progress to Class 1 driving, with the company funding the upgrade from Class 2 to Class 1 for the right candidate.
The Role
- Collecting RORO containers from Various sites throughout Central Bedfordshire
- Delivering loads to a local landfill site and other waste transfer stations
- Local work with no nights out
- Competitive day rate
- Weekend work is one day per weekend, every other weekend (Saturday or Sunday), when required by the customer
- Consistent local work
The Ideal Candidate
- RORO experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right applicant
- Must hold a valid Class 2 (C) licence
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
- Customer-focused
- Flexible and willing to work the required weekend day
- Keen to progress and develop their career
Career Progression – Class 1 Upgrade
For the right applicant, the company will fund and support the upgrade from Class 2 to Class 1 (C+E).
