About the role
Sapoflow Limited is looking for an experienced and reliable Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a flexible 16-hour-per-week role within an established and growing business. You will play an important role in supporting the day-to-day financial administration of the company and will work closely with the management team.
We are looking for someone who is organised, trustworthy and confident working independently, with good attention to detail and a practical approach to finance.
Key responsibilities
- Day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Raising sales invoices and monitoring outstanding payments
- Processing supplier payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Purchase ledger and sales ledger duties
- Assisting with VAT returns
- Credit control and following up outstanding invoices
- Processing employee expenses
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- General office and administrative duties as required
About you
We are looking for someone who:
- Has previous bookkeeping or finance administration experience
- Has a good understanding of basic accounting principles
- Is confident using accounting software and Microsoft Office
- Has excellent attention to detail
- Is organised and able to manage their own workload
- Is reliable, discreet and trustworthy when dealing with confidential financial information
- Has good communication skills
- Is comfortable working independently within a small business environment
Experience with Sage accounting software would be advantageous.

Pay: From £12.71 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 16.0 per week
