Job Summary
Join our vibrant team as a Waiting Staff member, working 25 hours per week in a dynamic hospitality environment. This position would include bar work and as such, we would require a candidate aged 18+. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional guest experiences through attentive service, efficient food and beverage delivery, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems and relay them promptly to the kitchen or bar staff
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Check in with guests regularly to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and enhance their experience
- Upsell menu items, specials, or beverages to maximize guest enjoyment and restaurant sales
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas throughout your shift
- Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure all health standards are met and upheld
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service, with knowledge of serving techniques
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures
- Basic math skills for processing payments accurately and managing tabs
- Familiarity with food preparation processes and kitchen operations is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
- Exceptional guest service skills with a friendly, positive attitude
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently while maintaining genuine customer engagement

Pay: £12.00-£13.50 per hour
