Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator/Project Manager to lead the planning, budgeting, and execution of construction projects from inception to completion. This role combines strategic estimation with proactive project management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong leadership, precise cost control, and excellent communication skills to coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and comprehensive project estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project requirements.
- Develop detailed project budgets, timelines, and resource plans to guide successful project execution.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into feasible project scopes.
- Oversee project progress, monitor costs continuously, and implement cost control measures to prevent budget overruns.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
- Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to provide updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in estimating construction or related projects with a strong focus on cost control.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to develop accurate budgets and schedules.
- Strong negotiation skills for working with vendors and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in project management software and estimating tools.
- Exceptional communication skills for clear coordination among team members and clients.
- A relevant degree or certification in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
