We are looking for a confident, organised and sales-driven Sales Coordinator to take ownership of our customer journey from the initial enquiry through to quotation acceptance and deposit.
This is not just an admin role. We need someone who enjoys speaking to customers, following up opportunities, overcoming objections and ultimately winning work.
The Role
You will become a key part of the AJCS Roofing office team, working closely with our Surveyor/Estimator, Operations Director and administration team.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Answering and responding to new customer enquiries
- Qualifying leads and gathering the correct information
- Booking appointments for our Surveyor/Estimator
- Managing the survey diary efficiently
- Keeping customers informed throughout the quotation process
- Ensuring quotations are issued promptly
- Following up quotations – we do not simply send quotes and hope for the best
- Making structured 24-hour and ongoing sales follow-up calls
- Discussing quotations confidently with customers
- Handling common sales objections
- Identifying why customers may be hesitant to proceed
- Explaining the value of choosing AJCS Roofing
- Negotiating within agreed parameters
- Escalating larger negotiations to management when required
- Closing sales and securing customer commitment
- Arranging deposit invoices and following up payment
- Liaising with Operations to agree proposed installation dates
- Updating Tradify/CRM accurately
- Keeping every lead and quotation at the correct stage
- Re-engaging older quotations and opportunities
- Recording reasons for lost quotations
- Requesting customer reviews following completed works
- Assisting with warranty and customer aftercare processes
- Proactively sourcing additional opportunities through platforms such as MyBuilder, Rated People and other approved lead sources

Experience within roofing, construction, home improvements, windows, solar, property or another trade-based sales environment would be a major advantage.
However, we are equally interested in someone with a strong background in telephone sales, sales coordination, account management or customer service with a proven ability to convert opportunities.
