We are lookig for a skilled TIG Welder to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for precision welding using TIG techniques, primarily working with sheet metal and fabricated components. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in welding to contribute to high-quality production processes. The position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety standards, and the ability to work efficiently within a team environment.
Responsibilities
Working with various materials including mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium
Use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment effectively to complete fabrication tasks.
Read and interpret technical drawings,
Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Experience
TIG Welding experience (2 years minimum) within the sheet metal industry
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical knowledge relevant to fabrication tasks.
Other details
Monday to Friday - 8.00 to 4.30 overtime available at time and a half
Up to 26 days annual holiday plus bank holidays
