We are looking for a Workplace Co-Ordinator to work in our Facilities team.
As a Workplace Co-Ordinator you will be required to provide professional customer service and comprehensive administrative and operational support to enable the delivery of facilities services.
In order to do this you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following specific duties:
- Act as the first point of contact for handling enquiries and requests by phone, email, and in person.
- Support facilities and operational support services, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Provide support for building maintenance and office equipment, troubleshooting, arranging repairs and monitoring progress.
- Keep records up to date and prepare reports to support planning and service improvements.
- Operate mail and print equipment and assist with printing activities during busy periods.
- Provide transport and logistics support for staff travel, deliveries, and collections, ensuring services are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Manage the daily movement of mail, deliveries, key distributions, sensitive materials and goods in and out of the Dalkeith office, including manual handling, heavy lifting, and use of pallet trucks. The role also requires extended periods of standing.
Additionally, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.
- Strong organisation, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work with information, perform accurate calculations and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues and customers.
- Physically fit and able to carry out regular manual work, including standing for long periods, heavy lifting, and using pallet trucks to move deliveries and materials.
- Educated to SCQF Level 6 (or equivalent experience), with demonstrable relevant experience
