Graduate Customer Account Executive
Role: Graduate Customer Account Executive
Location: Leicester (LE4 8AS) – in person
Salary: £27,000–£31,000 per year,
Type: Full‑time, permanent
Company Overview
Label Apeel Ltd is an award-winning label manufacturer known for producing beautiful, complex and technically demanding self-adhesive labels for ambitious brands in drinks, food, nutrition, cosmetics and personal care. We combine creativity, technical precision and print expertise to deliver labels that stand out on shelf and perform in the real world.
Why this role?
This is not a standard customer service role. You’ll work at the point where design, technical detail and customer relationships come together, helping brands turn creative ideas into finished labels that look exceptional and work perfectly in production.labelapeel+1
You’ll have real responsibility from early on, with structured training and the chance to grow into a highly capable account manager in a specialist, design-led manufacturing business.
Who we’re looking for
This role is ideal for a strong graduate or early-career candidate who is excited by the combination of creativity, technical problem-solving and customer contact.
You might be a good fit if you:
- Have an energetic, positive approach and enjoy helping people.
- Are gentle and patient in your style, building trust rather than forcing outcomes.
- React quickly and calmly when things change.
- Have very strong attention to detail and enjoy getting complex information right.
- Are curious about how design works in the real world, especially where creativity has to meet technical precision.labelapeel
- Enjoy juggling different tasks and keeping lots of moving parts organised.
- Want a role where you can build commercial, technical and relationship skills at the same time.
You do not need print or packaging experience. What matters most is your attitude, intelligence, curiosity and care for customers.
What you’ll be doing (once trained)
You’ll gradually take ownership of customer accounts and:
- Help customers turn design ideas into print-ready label solutions.labelapeel+1
- Raise and proactively follow up print estimates.
- Enter and manage print jobs so Production has clear, complete and accurate specifications.
- Keep customers up to date on any changes to costs, timings or technical requirements.labelapeel
- Respond to enquiries by email, phone and occasional in-person visits.
- Build long-term relationships through regular calls and meetings.
- Own and project-manage customer print projects or complaints, working with colleagues across the business.
- Learn how materials, adhesives, finishes, shapes and production constraints affect what is possible in label design.labelapeel+2
- Look for ways to increase order volumes by understanding customer plans and suggesting solutions.
- Join internal meetings to share customer feedback and improve the way the business works.
- Promote Label Apeel’s products and services in a knowledgeable and helpful way.
Training and development
We don’t expect you to know labels on day one. We’ll invest in you:
- Around one month working on the shop floor to learn how print and packaging actually work.
- In‑house training in estimating and print administration.
- Guided training in all areas of customer contact – email, phone and in‑person meetings.
- Ongoing coaching and support from experienced colleagues.
- Access to further training as the business grows and your role develops.
If you’re ambitious, there is clear scope to grow with us as we expand.
What we offer

- Company pension.
- Additional leave and sick pay.
- Health & wellbeing programme.
- Casual dress and friendly, down‑to‑earth culture.
