Overview
We are looking for a Laundry Operator with attention to detail to join our small team. The ideal candidate will have experience in a commercial laundry environment and will be responsible for ensuring that linens are cleaned and pressed using a flatwork iron. Must be a team player. Weekdays 8am to 1pm.
Duties
- Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently, following the procedures shown to you in training.
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and towelling according to our guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area, ensuring that all equipment is kept in good working order.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all tasks.
- Assist in training new staff members on laundry procedures as needed.
Requirements
- Previous experience and/or knowledge of Flatwork Ironing is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Ability to operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently.
