Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and personable Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional service in a lively hospitality environment, ensuring guests enjoy a memorable experience. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, adhering to standard recipes and presentation standards.
- Take orders from customers efficiently and accurately, ensuring prompt service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Manage cash register operations, including handling payments accurately using cash or card systems.
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure safety standards are upheld.
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts.
- Assist in setting up for events or special occasions as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant environments is preferred but not essential; full training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is desirable.
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on delivering excellent customer service.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively during busy periods.
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Proven ability to work well within a team and maintain a positive attitude under pressure.
