We are looking for 2 more Class 1 trampers on containers full time you will be working for a family run business based in Longton, Stoke-On-Trent, est 2019.
As a member of our team you'll be making bulk collections/deliveries from nationwide network of depots. You'll need a flexible outlook, a friendly personality, smart appearance and good customer service.
The Role
- As a Class 1 tramper driver you will be trunking container between varied UK ports and customer sites
- You will be expected to interact in a positive and professional manner and value customer service
- As a busy 24-hour operation, shift times will vary week on week so flexibility will be required.
- Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday and Sunday work available, which can be managed accordingly around working time regulations.
- This is a tramping role so the successful candidate should be prepared to have up to 4 nights out per week.
- Must have experience in Container work tramping (will consider driver with no container tramping expriance)
- Have done inductions and have card for all the major ports (will consider driver with no card, will have to pay for their own cards/induction at the ports, but will be refunded after 1 year of work completed)

HGV Driver Requirements
- Hold a valid C+E license, Driver CPC Card (or DQC Card) and Digi Card
- Understand and comply to tachograph and drivers hours regulations
- Minimum of 24 months UK driving time is preferred
- English Language is required
- Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road
- No more than six penalty points on your license (as well as no DD, DR or IN endorsements)
- Must pass per-employment Drug & Alcohol screening, and client vetting process
- Approved drivers consist of drivers with BGC results as “Meets Requirements” and drug and alcohol tests with negative results.
