Silchrome Plating Ltd is an award-winning metal finishing company based in Leeds but serving the whole UK & many customers around the globe. We offer a comprehensive range of metal finishing services including electro-plating, Anodising, Phosphating, Powder Coating and much more. Silchrome currently supply a wide range of coatings to the Aerospace, Automotive, Domestic, Decorative, Industrial, Military etc.
The day to day of the job involves inspecting plated parts, organising goods out with couriers, packing goods suitable for transport, managing adhesion testing and documenting quality results, masking parts using lacquers and jigging components.
Due to the nature of the business, we require employees to work within strict health and safety procedures and wear PPE (which is provided) alongside this ensuring good housekeeping within the inspection area is also a must.
Personal Requirements:
· Excellent attention to detail
· Due to the parts being inspected a good visual acuity is required, and the ability to maintain focus on small details for long periods.
· Arrive on time everyday
· Available to work overtime when the business requires
· Willing and able to do challenging tasks without complaint
· You will also be required to support the business in any other way as directed
· Non-smoker
Experience:
Previous experience in a Quality and Inspection environment – Training will also be provided

07:45-16:30 Monday to Thursday
07:45-15:00 Friday
Overtime available paid at 1.3x base rate.
After a 3-month probationary period being employed you will be eligible to join the company pension and death in service benefit and have the opportunity to receive a weekly bonus.
