Corkage is an award winning, independent Restaurant, Wine Bar and Bottle Shop in the centre of beautiful Georgian Bath.

We are equally proud of our wine list, showcasing well over 100 of our favourite wines from all over the world. Both are seasonal and constantly changing to keep things exciting and interesting.
The Role, Responsibilities & You:
We are looking for a hard working and professional individual to fill a full time front of house role within our small established team, providing casual but high quality, friendly and knowledgeable service. You will be someone with a great personality and attitude to work, as well as having excellent customer service skills & relevant experience but a desire to learn more.
The role will encompass all aspects of the business from setting up/closing down & housekeeping, preparing and running a fantastic service, looking after our guests by having great knowledge of the wine list and menu to provide recommendations & answer questions, all while bringing energy and a smile to everything we do.
Restaurant service experience in a similar role is essential & a genuine interest and basic knowledge in wine is also important. Full training will be given, but you will need to be motivated to hit the ground running and perform in an often busy, fast paced environment.
On offer & requirements:
This is a permanent, full time position, averaging approx. 35-40 hours across 5 days per week. Shifts will generally include 2-3 evenings (Monday-Thursday) as well as 2-3 split/double shifts Wednesday - Saturday. You will also be required to work Sundays during bank holiday weekends and very occasionally throughout the year if events are booked, there will be an extra day off during the week to accommodate this.
You will be expected to be available for the above on a weekly basis unless on annual leave, or prior arrangement has been made.
- 30-40 hours / 5 days per week.
- £15-£18+ per hour - inclusive of £11-£13 per hour based on age and/or experience plus tips package in the range of £3-£6 per hour.
