Open Study College is one of the UK's largest distance learning colleges and is now recruiting for experienced Early Years assessors to support the Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator).
This is a field based freelance position and provides an opportunity to take advantage of flexible working hours.
To assess and verify on the NCFE CACHE Diploma for the Early Years Workforce. This role includes the following:
- A requirement to visit learners in their workplace and must be willing to travel within a 50-75 mile radius.
- Visits to take place in both term time and school holidays.
You will also be required to maintain your subject knowledge and occupational competencies and keeping up to date with awarding body and general education issues through Continuous Professional Development (CPD). Evidence of this will need to be submitted if successful with your application.
Candidates must possess the following to be considered for this position:
- Experience of delivering early years educator qualifications
- Experience of working in an early years setting
- Must possess an assessor qualification
- Must possess an internal verification qualification
- Experience of using an ePortfolio
- Must have good IT skills as all work is managed online
- Subject knowledge of level 4 or higher
- Be available to undertake visits both in term time and school holidays.
