Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior chefs, ensuring all dishes meet quality standards
- Support food production processes by preparing ingredients, garnishes, and accompaniments efficiently and accurately
- Follow established recipes and portion controls to maintain consistency across all menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Contribute to team efforts by collaborating with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Support supervising staff in managing daily kitchen operations and maintaining a positive work environment
- Serve dishes with professionalism, ensuring presentation standards are met and customer satisfaction is achieved
Skills
- Proven interest or experience in food preparation, cooking, or hospitality environments
- Strong understanding of food safety practices and hygiene standards in a professional kitchen
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while demonstrating leadership potential
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and follow instructions clearly
