Swift Temps are recruiting for a Maintenance Technician to support a busy student accommodation site in North London.
The role involves general multi-trade maintenance across student bedrooms, communal areas and the wider accommodation, helping to keep the property safe, functional and ready for residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs across the accommodation
- Complete basic plumbing repairs, including sinks, toilets, showers and seals
- Undertake minor carpentry, decorating and general repair work
- Complete snagging and make-good works
- Carry out room and communal area checks
- Repair fixtures, fittings and furniture
- Respond to maintenance requests and complete jobs efficiently
- Identify larger or specialist repairs and report where required
- Support the wider accommodation team during busy periods
- Maintain Health & Safety and housekeeping standards
Experience & Requirements
- Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities, construction or a similar hands-on environment
- Multi-trade skills and good general maintenance ability
- Good practical problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and professional
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable working in student accommodation and occupied buildings
