Job Overview
To undertake duties as the Cleaning Supervisor and assist the Contract Manager. These duties may vary from day to day as the contract follows an output specification. Accountable for the effective delivery of a professional cleaning service to the client, ensuring the necessary health & safety precautions followed in all areas of the buildings, warehouse department, and welfare areas, GMP area cleaning .
Shift Times - 6:00am-15:00pm Saturday & Sunday ONLY
Pay Rate - £15.57 per hour.
Responsibilities
Duties are
Induction training the first 2 days of the month Monday & Tuesday before start date.
Staff rotation
Staff training
Health and safety Accident and incident reporting
Supervisor training GSF
Ongoing training within a GMP environment
SOP weekly to remain compliant
Dealing with clients request in a timely manner
Holiday and return to works
Stock management
Reporting to line manager weekly
Basic IT skills
DBS required and RTW will be carried out
- To have a full knowledge of all areas of work to be covered in the course of duty.
- To ensure that only correct cleaning materials used on site and for the correct purpose.
- Carry out routine cleaning and performance checking of equipment as required and keep accurate records of results.
- Be familiar and work in accordance with the safety procedures within the GMP areas with regard to accidents, fires and the handling of hazardous materials.
- Ensure that keys are signed out, and after work, signed in.
- To always, attempt to improve on existing standards of work.
- To be polite, friendly, and helpful at all times.
- To visually and verbally recognise the client (or client representative) in a pleasant manner.
- To act upon client comments / requests in line with company policy.
- To be prepared at all times to assist your colleagues and move from one activity to another within your overall remit.

- To ensure that all equipment and cleaning cupboards kept clean, and that equipment and materials locked away when not in use.
- To ensure all equipment used is in a safe condition; reported for maintained when required.
- Always work in a safe manner, using warning signs when appropriate.
- To come to work regularly and to notify the management if for any reason you are unable to attend (as per staff handbook).
- To arrive punctually for every shift.
Person Specification
- Experience in a supervisory role.
- Previous Pharmaceutical cleaning experience. Preferred but not essential as training provided.
- Previous experience in a front facing customer service skills.
- Good Communication skills.
- Well organised with the ability to prioritise workloads.
- Smart, presentable appearance.
- Personable and approachable.
- Flexible will work with other trades.
- Good communication skills in both verbal and written formats.
- Must be willing to undertake further training.
